President's Message

Hi there, I am Morgan McBride and I am honored to serve as the 2026-2027 President of the
Huntsville Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). Since joining
this organization in 2021, my journey with IFMA has been both rewarding and inspiring. I’ve had
the privilege of serving on the Program Committee in 2024 and leading it as Chair in 2025,
which has deepened my appreciation for the exceptional people and mission of our chapter.
IFMA is an unparalleled community of facility management professionals dedicated to
advancing our industry through education, career growth, innovation, and cultivating
meaningful connections. We strike the perfect balance between professional development and
having fun with incredible colleagues who become lasting friends.

The Huntsville Chapter has grown from a group of 20 in 1989 into a thriving network of over 150
like-minded professionals and innovators. We are proud to represent facility managers, service
providers, and key industry partners.
Our chapter is built on the following key pillars that guide everything we do:

- Delivering Engaging Programming & Events
We host high-quality monthly programs featuring knowledgeable speakers and insightful facility
tours. These events provide real-world learning opportunities designed to help members stay at
the forefront of industry trends and technology.

- Fostering a Diverse Membership
We value and cultivate a diverse membership, bringing together facility management experts,
service providers, designers, contractors, and innovators.

- Leadership with Trust
Our dedicated Board of Directors leads with integrity and an unwavering commitment to
serving our members. Guided by the IFMA Code of Ethics, we ensure transparency, strategic
growth, and accountability.

- Investing in the Future of FM
Through scholarships, mentorships, and community outreach, we are dedicated to inspiring the
next genera@on of facility management professionals and tradespersons.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we invite you to explore everything our chapter has to offer.
We’d be delighted to welcome you to one of our upcoming monthly events—come as our guest,
learn more about what we do, and discover how IFMA can elevate your career and expand your
professional network.

I am incredibly optimistic about the future of our chapter and the facility management industry
as a whole. Huntsville, the Rocket City, is a hub of innovation and opportunity, and our chapter
is no exception. Together, we will continue to enhance and shape the future of workplaces and
facilities in our region!
